Combat the cost of living crisis. I want to deliver targeted measures to support everyone struggling to get by. In 2024, nobody should be forced to choose between heating and eating.

Build more affordable homes. I will campaign for more genuinely affordable homes to tackle Dorset’s housing crisis. Instead of more empty second homes, we need secure homes for families so they can put down roots.

Deliver a world class NHS. After 14 years of Tory neglect, I will campaign to reopen key services at our community hospitals in Weymouth, Swanage and Portland; and I will campaign for mental health services and affordable social care in every community.

Invest in public services and public transport. I will push for investment in our schools and early-years services, buses and railways, and our police and armed forces. We need well-funded services, not more Tory cuts.

Tackle the Climate Emergency. Climate change is the biggest challenge facing us, but also an opportunity to rebuild our economy. I will campaign for high-skilled, green jobs across South Dorset. I will stand up against any attempts to frack across Purbeck.

Stand up against sewage dumping. We must protect our Jurassic Coast from being trashed by oil spills and sewage dumps. I will continue my community campaign for tough new rules to stop water companies and big polluters acting with impunity.

Clean up our politics. South Dorset is neglected by an MP who has been missing in action and willing to turn a blind eye to cronyism and corruption in Westminster. I will work to clean up our politics and give South Dorset a strong voice in Parliament.

Fix our broken asylum system. I will campaign to fix our asylum system. The Conservatives are only interested in gimmicks and chasing headlines. I will campaign day and night to close down the costly and inhumane barge in Portland Harbour.
